CCME Celebrates 15 Years with 45,000 Attendees and 2 Million Streams

Madrid, 14 September 2025. Coca-Cola Music Experience celebrated its 15th anniversary in Madrid with 45,000 attendees and more than 2 million streaming views, after offering 16 hours of live music across 12 and 13 September. Since its birth in Spain in 2011, CCME – Coca-Cola’s only festival in the world – has, over 15 editions, provided experiences and connection through music to more than 375,000 attendees.

This year’s new global streaming format boosted at-home engagement, adding over 2 million views through the festival’s official YouTube channel. The change, a huge success, consisted of top-level content creators entertaining and engaging the audience between performances. Plex, Andrea Garte, Lluna Clark, Elena Gortari, Juan & Erra and David Moreno led the broadcast. To illustrate the surge in streaming, just Friday alone reached the same number of views as the entire previous edition of CCME. Meanwhile, Tony Aguilar accompanied every moment from the stage as master of ceremonies, marking his uninterrupted 15 years tied to the festival.

This weekend, Madrid’s Iberdrola Music venue was transformed into a music theme park for a young and family-friendly audience: bumper cars, the iconic Ferris wheel, merchandising customisation points, Make Up and Tattoo Points, and activations from different Coca-Cola brands. Highlights included the Aquarius Garage, the Fuze Tea terrace, a corner to enjoy Coca-Cola Freestyle, a Wanta Fanta photo booth, and a “Share a Coca-Cola with” customisation space.

Keeping the bar high from previous editions, the technical team once again turned each performance into its own show: alongside flawless production, the stage featured giant screens, pyrotechnic and water effects, and lighting that surrounded the artists. An additional runway in front of the stage allowed performers to get closer to the audience, with many stepping down to greet fans during their sets.

Tania de Torres, Director of Coca-Cola Music Experience: “When we created Coca-Cola Music Experience in 2011, we knew it was the birth of something big. Fifteen editions later, we can say that all our expectations have been exceeded. CCME is a one-of-a-kind festival within Coca-Cola worldwide, and the best example of how to turn a 100% made-in-Spain music event into a global benchmark for responsible entertainment where everyone has a place. This has been made possible thanks to the work of a local team of more than 2,000 people, and the support and affection of the thousands of young people who join us every year. They are the driving force that keeps Coca-Cola Music Experience growing and reaching more and more people.”

Lola Índigo, Viva Suecia, Leire Martínez and J Balvin on the 15th anniversary line-up

The diversity of musical styles, combining emerging and established national and international artists, was once again at the heart of CCME, with a line-up of 22 performers.

On Saturday, Lola Índigo closed the 15th anniversary edition with a show full of choreography and stage power. The artist from Granada, returning after her 2022 CCME performance, ended with one of this summer’s hits, “Moja1ta”. Her set put the finishing touch on a special year in which she was also the face of Fanta and author of the brand’s exclusive hit “Wanta Fanta”.

That same day opened with Marc Seguí, followed by Leire Martínez, who filled the stage with strength. L-Gante brought his unmistakable rap and flow, while Álvaro de Luna and Carolina Durante had the crowd singing along to the biggest pop songs of the moment. Mayo surprised with a special guest from a previous CCME edition, Mar Lucas, and Lucía de la Puerta showcased her journey from influencer to singer with her urban style. Next came Argentinians María Becerra, one of today’s most influential artists, and Tiago PZK, with millions of digital streams. Performances like that of Perro Negro highlighted the festival’s commitment to emerging talent.

The fifteenth edition kicked off on Friday with La Cendejas, followed by Daniela Blasco, who performed her newly released “Popstars” live for the first time, before giving way to Malmö 040. Venezuelan Micro TDH followed, then Argentina’s Yami Safdie with her pop-urban fusion. After Mafalda Cardenal’s set, one of the most acclaimed bands, Murcia’s Viva Suecia, took the stage, followed by JC Reyes and Trueno. Friday closed with Alvama Ice and J Balvin, one of the biggest Latin stars of recent years.

Fifteen years of evolution, diversity and inclusion

CCME celebrates its 15th anniversary with the honour of being named “Best Festival or Event” at the LOS40 Music Awards Santander. This prestigious recognition, awarded in the last edition of the awards, cements Coca-Cola’s 15 years of evolution and growth. Milestones include its leap to large-scale festival format in 2019 and its hybrid format (in-person + streaming) since 2021. Coca-Cola Music Experience stands out for never ceasing to evolve and adapt to young people’s demands and interests.

That remains one of CCME’s defining traits: ensuring that all audiences are welcome has always been a priority for the brand. In terms of sustainability, CCME once again stood out for implementing a strategy that reduces its environmental impact and strengthens collaboration among customers, suppliers, attendees, and all stakeholders. These efforts earned it the external “Sustainable Event” certification from Eventsost.

In addition, this year Coca-Cola continued its commitment to making CCME increasingly accessible and inclusive. Once again partnering with the Music For All association, the brand activated initiatives to support people with reduced mobility, visual impairment, hearing impairment, or other special needs. Measures included a raised platform, accessible signage, vibrating backpacks, and induction loops, among others.
