City Splash brings culture back to DrumSheds this October

City Splash festival is taking over London’s renowned Drumsheds venue once again on Saturday, 25th October.

Promising a day filled with high-quality and high-energy music, City Splash will showcase the very best of Reggae, Dancehall, Soca, Garage, UK Funky and beyond, setting the stage for a celebration of music, food and culture.

Known for championing the best in Caribbean and African music, City Splash’s 2024 Drumsheds event saw over 25 artists, DJs and MCs bring their energy to the iconic London venue. Headlined by Kingston’s very own Konshens, plus the voice behind one of Dancehall’s biggest anthems, ‘Drift’; Teejay, City Splash x Drumsheds 2024 was an unforgettable celebration of culture.

City Splash celebrates the impact of Caribbean and African culture in the UK and beyond, from the heritage of Roots, Dub and Dancehall to the birth of Jungle and Garage, right up to showcasing the most up-and-coming talent for today. They are purveyors and advocates for Black music, food, dance and style and have become the largest one-day reggae-centric festival globally.

Drumsheds, a repurposed industrial warehouse with a 15,000 capacity, opened in October 2023 and has quickly become a vital space for diverse cultural programming in London. Drumsheds have emerged as a place where culture thrives on a massive scale.
