Keep the Summer Vibes Alive at Hertfordshire Reggae Festival 2025

There’s just something about the last weekend of August. The big festivals are pressed into your memory, the campsite stories are receding into group chats, and you can feel the season slowly transitioning away. It’s the time of year when the wellies go back in the cupboard, and you start to question where the summer went.

But if you’re not quite ready to let go of the music, the sunshine, and those golden festival feelings — Hertfordshire Reggae Festival is still calling you.

Happening on Sunday 31st August at the Hitchin Priory Summer Series, this one-day celebration is a chance to squeeze out every last bit of summer magic. And with 85% of tickets sold, it’s clearly not just you feeling that way.

The lineup looks like a love letter to reggae and all its amazing history! UB40 featuring Ali Campbell will take the lead with their monster hits and very well-known sound, and then Aswad, DJ, broadcaster, and reggae legend David Rodigan, punk-reggae character Don Letts, lovers rock hero Bitty McLean, timeless voice of Dawn Penn, and bass-heavy, party-continuing Trojan Sound System.

What’s special about this festival experience, that is more than just the fantastic music (it would be reason enough), is also the atmosphere. It is chilled but buzzing, friendly, open, and smiling. Whether you are coming with a big group of mates or with the entire family, it feels like one happy family party day!

Whether you are entrenched from starting early or just discovering the passion of reggae from both the experience and culture of being involved in the festival circuit, it is something that is never quite right. It’s more than music, it’s a communal experience, sharing our love of party and culture and being in the open air with thousands of smiling faces dancing.

If you aren’t quite ready to say goodbye to your wellies or bottle away your glitter and bucket hat just yet, definitely get your tickets now, and come be involved in something amazing.

Hertfordshire Reggae Festival: where summer continues, and vibes never stop.

Tickets on sale now! — don’t miss your chance to join the celebration.
