Black Deer in the City 2025

Black Deer in the City is a brand-new two-day celebration that brings the magic of Black Deer Festival into the heart of London. Blending the best of the festival with the spirit of Black Deer Live, it promises a weekend packed with Americana music, mouth-watering food, and plenty of surprises.

Across three live stages – Black Deer Live, the ever-welcoming Haley’s Bar, and the legendary Roadhouse curated by London tastemakers Desertscene – more than 50 artists will perform. Expect everything from raw country and blues to Americana soul and raucous rock ’n’ roll, all handpicked to capture the true Black Deer sound.

Of course, no Black Deer experience would be complete without the Live Fire stage. This city edition will be no different, with world-class chefs and pitmasters firing up the grills to serve authentic Southern-style dishes. Think smoky brisket, bold flavours, and live cooking demos that celebrate the craft of outdoor fire cooking.

And if you’re feeling daring, there’s plenty to test your limits – from chilli pepper challenges to hot dog eating contests, both running daily.

Around the site, you’ll find bars pouring craft beers and whiskey cocktails, a buzzing selection of street food traders, fashion shows, even a working tattoo parlour – all creating a unique festival village atmosphere right in the middle of the city.
