Description
Brixton Disco Festival is back once again on 2nd May 2026, ready to make us dance to the sound of disco music. It’s the seventh year of the festival, and it’s set to be a genuine bash.
Think of it as a massive, multi-venue pub crawl, but with disco venues instead of pubs. You pay for a ticket, and boom, you're there. You'll be bouncing around joints like Electric Brixton, Brixton Jamm, Phonox, Brixton Village, Ritzy, Black Cultural Archives – a right mix of iconic places.
And what about the lineup? The 2026 lineup hasn’t been announced yet, but 2025 was off the scale. Legends like Crazy P, Dimitri From Paris, François K, and Norman Jay MBE lit up the stages. Melvo Baptiste brought the sunshine beats, while crews like Faith, Deep Into Soul, and The Disco Express took over stages, setting the perfect vibe. A host of other DJs – from seasoned veterans to rising stars – kept the energy high and the crowds dancing all day and night.
Here's the lowdown:
- It's a disco takeover of several venues: One ticket, several spots, pure disco bliss.
- The bill is incredible: There are A-listers and high-quality selectors.
- It's an authentic Brixton experience: You'll be jumping from some of the coolest spots in town.
- Get your wristband sooner than later: That's your pass to venue-hopping.
- Bring ID: You'll need it to get in, and it's 18+ only.
- Late-night action: After 1 am, you aren't leaving. When you're leaving one venue, you're done for the night.
- Venue capacities matter: If a venue is already heaving, you'll move on to the next.
It's really just a chance to get lost in some music, discover some fresh talent, and have the absolute best time in one of London's most fun and varied neighborhoods. All you need to bring is dancing feet and be ready to get your boogie on.
