Dot To Dot Festival, a renowned platform for showcasing emerging musical talents, celebrated its 5th anniversary in 2010. Establishing a firm reputation for curating the best upcoming music scenes in two prominent musical cities, the festival organisers decided it was time to embark on a new venture. This led to the expansion of the festival to Manchester, marking a significant milestone in its journey.

The inaugural Manchester edition of Dot To Dot Festival witnessed a stellar line-up and performances across various stages in the North-West, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the festival. Headlined by the acclaimed Mystery Jets, the event featured notable artists such as Ellie Goulding, Zane Lowe, Beach House, Los Campesinos!, and Washed Out. With an impressive roster of performers and enthusiastic reception from the audience, the festival laid the groundwork for future editions and established its presence in yet another vibrant musical hub.

In 2023, Dot To Dot Festival returned with a jam-packed weekend showcasing the hottest emerging talent on a global scale. Following a nomination for Best Metropolitan and Best Small Festival in the UK Music Awards 2022, the festival continued its tradition of championing promising artists. The Bristol and Nottingham stages witnessed electrifying performances, with Mercury award nominees Yard Act headlining alongside indie dreampop legends Alvvays.

The diverse lineup included acts such as The Murder Capital, Finn Foxell, Kofi Stone, Yune Pinku, Hamish Hawk, High Vis, 86TVs, Grove, BEKA, Fat Dog, Cryalot, Opus Kink, Nieve Ella, Benefits, Sophie May, Antony Szmierek, 49th & Main, Divorce, Nix Northwest, and Yot Club. The weekend was a resounding success, with the Bristol leg selling out and both Yard Act and Alvvays delivering captivating headline sets at Nottingham’s Rock City and Bristol’s O2 Academy respectively. Dot To Dot Festival 2023 showcased the festival's commitment to diversity and innovation, leaving a lasting impression on attendees and further solidifying its position as a leading platform for emerging musical talent.
