A Matter of Time Tour: Laufey

Laufey Lín Bing Jónsdóttir — simply known as Laufey to many people — is an Icelandic singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who is re-imagining what jazz can be in the 21st century. Laufey combines the timelessness of the classics with a taste of modern pop to emerge as one of the most compelling updated voices for current generation.

Music has been a part of her life since the beginning. She was performing as a cello soloist for the Iceland Symphony Orchestra when she was just 15 years old. Shortly thereafter, in 2014 she was a finalist on Ísland Got Talent, where she became a sensation, and the very next year was a semi-finalist on The Voice Iceland. She then took her step towards Boston and Berklee College of Music to develop the sound her fans would come to know and love, and they are now known across the global stage.

Laufey introduced herself in 2021 with her debut EP, Typical of Me, which gave a taste of her uniquely fused influences. Her first album, Everything I Know About Love (2022), resonated with both Iceland and beyond in the US. Her newest project, Bewitched (2023), earned her a Grammy for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album and included her breakout international hit single From the Start. Laufey's third record A Matter of Time, arrived in August 2025 with her meteoric rise appearing to have no limits.

To celebrate the new release, Laufey is on the road with A Matter of Time Tour. UK and Irish fans will have a treat - in addition to previous performances, she'll be appearing in Manchester, London and Dublin. Now audiences will be able to experience her sublime voice and infectious charm on stage.
