Description
Presented by TK Maxx, Lytham Festival has grown from a modest one-night community Proms concert into a five-day spectacle that attracts over 120,000 music lovers each summer. Set against the dramatic vista of Lancashire's Ribble Estuary, it has become a sure-fire marker in the regional cultural diary, appealing to both indigenous audiences and a growing number of international visitors.
Lytham Festival has welcomed over the years a collection of artists representing different categories of music. Past headliners include some of the global superstars: Lionel Richie, Sting, Diana Ross, Duran Duran, Kylie Minogue, Lewis Capaldi, Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Rod Stewart, Tom Jones, and many others. And so, each year it comes out with its uniqueness in the ratio of classic hits and new sounds and is a never-forgettable show.
Now looking ahead to 2025, the festival has announced its first wave of headliners for what is shaping up to be an incredible year: Alanis Morissette, Justin Timberlake, Simple Minds, and Texas confirm headline slots at the North West's biggest live music event. Over the next five nights, this year's festival promises an intense mix of classic hits and current chart-busting music that will capture the hearts of everybody present.
The usually peaceful and picturesque Lytham Green, enjoyed by families, dog walkers, and kite flyers, will be unrecognizable in this very high-energy venue. Every evening, as many as 20,000 festival-goers will descend to witness electrifying performances by world-class artists. What was once a tranquil spot overlooking the coast now turns into the hub of live music in the North West, an atmosphere filled with excitement, joy, and the universal language of music.
With Lytham Festival 2025, the anticipation keeps building for what has become so much more than a festival: a summer tradition that brings people together in a celebration of music and culture along the stunning Lancashire coast.
