If you’re dreaming of a summer weekend filled with great music, incredible food and stunning views, then Rock Oyster Festival might just be the ticket. Set on the beautiful Camel Estuary at Dinham House, this boutique festival on the Cornish coast serves up three days of live music, feasting and coastal fun – all with a laid-back, family-friendly vibe.
With everything from top chefs and big-name bands to yoga, spa treatments and pirate schools (yes, really), there’s something for everyone.
Music, Mischief and Sea Shanties
The music is a huge part of what makes Rock Oyster so special – and the Oyster Stage is where the magic happens. Picture this: choirs and sea shanties drifting through the air by day, followed by epic headline sets as the sun goes down over the estuary. It’s a proper goosebumps moment.
If you prefer something a little more exclusive, then the Coral Club is the best place for you. Think VIP, great views of the main stage, posh toilets and a glass of fizz whilst you watch the show.
For those who like their entertainment with a twist, the Deep Dive tent hosts everything from author talks and panel chats to quizzes and comedy. And when night falls, it transforms into the Dive Bar – a cheeky late-night venue with DJs, cabaret and more than a few surprises.
A Foodie’s Paradise
Let’s talk about the food – because Rock Oyster takes it seriously. The Pearl, powered by Hotpoint, is the festival’s culinary hub. Expect sizzling pans, clinking plates and top chefs doing their thing live on stage. Grab a coffee, pull up a chair and soak it all in – you might even pick up a few cooking tips along the way.
New for 2025 is The Kitchen – a brand-new festival dining experience where some of the South West’s best-loved restaurants and chefs will be serving up proper plates of goodness. And when the last dish is served, the disco lights come on – because let’s be honest, all the best parties end up in the kitchen.
Family-Friendly Fun
Rock Oyster is big on creating space for families too. The Jellyfish Tent is where the little ones (affectionately known as Little Fish) can enjoy a packed programme of fun across the whole weekend.
Also new for 2025 is the Little Theatre, hosted by the brilliantly bonkers team at Tootles + Nibs. Expect storytelling, science experiments, pirate school, kids’ raves, and something called ‘The Silly Olympics’ – which we can only imagine will be as hilarious as it sounds.
Time to Recharge
Once you’ve danced, feasted and explored, the festival has just the spot to unwind. The Shankha is a peaceful little corner for yoga, meditation and soulful ceremonies – perfect for clearing your head or stretching out after a night of dancing.
And if you're after some proper pampering, treat yourself to Spa Morvoren. Massages, facials, and all the self-care you can dream of - you will leave refreshed, relaxed, and smelling like a meadow.
Are You Prepared for the Weekend of Your Life?
Whatever your feel for music, food, views, or even all three; Rock Oyster Festival 2025 promises something special and one of those memorable weekends where you can truly revel, turn off and enjoy all of the special, beautiful, and magical things the Cornish coastline has to offer.
Get your pals together, get your dancing shoes packed (an anorak, if required!), & get ready for a summer experience like no other.
