The Green Man Festival

The Green Man Festival, an independent celebration of music, science, and arts, graces the picturesque Brecon Beacons of Wales each mid-August. What began as a modest gathering has blossomed into a monumental week-long affair, drawing a crowd of 25,000 enthusiasts. The festival's pulse beats to the rhythms of alternative, indie, rock, folk, dance, and Americana, with live music taking center stage. Spanning across 10 distinct areas, attendees can immerse themselves in literature, film, comedy, science, theatre, wellness, and family-friendly entertainment.

Beyond its musical offerings, the festival has embarked on various endeavors, including the establishment of the Green Man Trust, a charitable arm dedicated to supporting community initiatives. Additionally, it boasts its own line of craft beer, aptly named Green Man Growler. Past editions have seen illustrious headliners such as Kraftwerk, Bicep, Laura Marling, Van Morrison, Michael Kiwanuka, PJ Harvey, Fontaines D.C., Devo, Fleet Foxes, and First Aid Kit, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all who wander into its verdant embrace.
