The Lambeth Country Show is brought to you by Lambeth Council, in partnership with Brockwell Live.
With over 120,000 people flock to Brockwell Park throughout the weekend, the show is one of the biggest free family festivals in the UK and boasts a unique line-up that celebrates the very best of the city and countryside.
This year, the Lambeth Country Show returns on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 June 2025, bringing two packed days of entertainment, culture and community to the heart of south London.
Starting back in 1974, the show is widely regarded as the highlight in south London’s social calendar; not only providing a great weekend of entertainment, but also being a real opportunity to model sustainable behaviour, engage with the community and improve the environment we all live in.
The show hosts over 200 traders and exhibitors including street food from around the world, local crafts, retail, health and wellbeing, horticulturists and much more. A rich heritage of local charities and community groups have a presence at the show too and help celebrate the real diversity that Lambeth has to offer.
Expect all the favourites of a classic country fair — sheep shearing, owl displays, homegrown produce competitions, stunt shows, horse jousting, a working farm, and even diggerland fun for the kids. But there’s also room for innovation, with interactive experiences in science, space exploration, virtual reality and environmental education.
Music is central to the show’s atmosphere. The Village Green stage highlights an eclectic mix of local artists, from folk and funk to choirs, samba bands and steel orchestras. Over on the Main Stage, Saturday brings feel-good sounds from funk and soul to disco anthems, while Sunday’s legendary "Roots Day" features reggae, dub and ska acts from around the world.
With its unique mix of rural tradition and urban culture, the Lambeth Country Show is a joyful, inclusive weekend that captures the spirit of south London — and everyone’s invited.
