The Uptown Festival has returned – and is set to explode in 2025
If you’ve been waiting to start your summer planning, here is your chance to book it. The Uptown Festival is back at Blackheath, on Sunday 27th July 2025, and the full line up has just dropped – it’s massive.
Leading the way this year is the incomparable Boy George & Culture Club, who will take to the main stage with their familiar sound (and plenty of the nostalgia). There will be singalongs, sequins and some of the best pop songs to come out of the UK.
They will be joined by Heather Small, a voice that has filled our ears from 90s dancefloors to Olympic montages, not to mention Stereo MC’s, Dj and style icon Gok Wan, soul legend Jaki Graham, and other acts are still to be announced.
But Uptown has never been just about the headliners – it is one of those unique festivals that is as much fun for families as it is for music lovers.
On the Family Stage, our good friends Big Fish Little Fish (BFLF) will again be hosting a daytime rave for children and their accompanying adults. Old skool garage, bubbles, glitter, and more foam than you could possibly want.
And don’t forget the return of our Soul & Reggae Stage, a sunny spot of the festival where good vibes and feel-good classics will keep the spirit till the sun sets.
Add to that, a superb line-up of street food vendors, fairground rides, and pop-up activities strewn around the site, and you have all the ingredients for a proper summer day out – with mates, kids, and/or nan.
The best part? A short trip from central London, so no need to bring a tent, or camp in a muddy field.
Uptown Festival 2025 takes place on Sunday 27th July in Blackheath. Tickets are now on sale – not to want to act quickly, especially with how quickly they sold out last year!
