DocksFest 2025: First Acts Revealed After Spectacular Debut

After a highly successful launch in 2024, DocksFest is set to return for its second edition on Saturday, 5 July 2025, at the Meridian Showground. The festival, which drew over 4,000 attendees in its debut year, has already announced its first wave of performers, building anticipation for an even bigger event.

Building on Instant Success

The inaugural DocksFest garnered national recognition, earning nominations for Best New Festival and Best Small Festival at the UK Festival Awards 2024. Organisers are determined to capitalise on this momentum, promising an enhanced experience for 2025.

Festival co-founder Will Douglas, who also serves as Director of Dirty Docks Ltd, Docks Beers, and Docks Academy, expressed his enthusiasm:
“The incredible energy of this year’s festival showed that North East Lincolnshire is ready for a major live music event. People travelled from across the UK to enjoy the outstanding atmosphere and performances. We’re excited to deliver an artist line-up for 2025 that will make DocksFest an unforgettable destination event.”

First Acts Announced

The initial line-up features iconic acts and rising stars alike. Indie rock favourites Ash and Maximo Park are joined by Corella, Coach Party, and local talent EVER and Last of the Wonder Kids. More acts, including the headline performer, will be revealed in early 2025.

Last year’s headline slots were filled by major names such as Razorlight, Frank Turner, and Lottery Winners, raising expectations for another stellar line-up.

A Celebration of Music, Food, and Community

Grimsby-born comedian Lloyd Griffith will once again host the festival, which aims to celebrate not just music but also the local culture. With street food stalls, locally brewed beers, and acoustic performances in the VIP Tent Acoustic Stage, DocksFest 2025 promises a diverse and engaging experience.

Chris Gadd, festival co-founder and Director of Dirty Docks and Stage & Light, shared his excitement about the event’s local focus:
“We’re proud to spotlight the Grimsby music scene with EVER and Last of the Wonder Kids on the main stage, alongside chart-topping acts. We’ll also feature acoustic sets from other local musicians in the VIP area, with details to come early next year.”
