The End of the Road Festival 2025 lineup has been unveiled, featuring an impressive array of headliners, including Caribou, Father John Misty, Self Esteem, and Sharon Van Etten. This much-loved annual festival is set to return to its picturesque location at Larmer Tree Gardens near Blandford, Dorset, running from 28 to 31 August 2025.

Stellar Headliners and Musical Highlights

Father John Misty will perform after the release of his sixth album and critical darling, Mahashmashana. The American musician, born Joshua Tillman, gained fame as a member of Fleet Foxes before releasing albums under his solo name FJM moniker.

British pop sensation and Mercury Prize nominee Self Esteem joins the bill after her widely acclaimed album Prioritise Pleasure wowed in 2021.

American singer-songwriter Sharon Van Etten will also perform, with fans specifically looking forward to hearing tracks from her 2022 effort, We’ve Been Going About This All Wrong.

Adding to the excitement is Caribou, the dance music project of the Canadian composer Dan Snaith. His most recent LP, Honey, released October 2024, has received critical acclaim across the board.

More Artists to Watch

The 2025 roster also features experimental artists from near and far. Highlights include:

The solo project of Geordie Greep, the former frontman of experimental rock band Black Midi.

Black Country, New Road, the renowned avant-garde rock collective

The South African funk artist Moonchild Sanelly, known for her riotous appearances.

Festival-goers should also listen for secret sets. Wet Leg’s surprise performance last year ended up being one of the higher points of the festival, with the Isle of Wight indie-rock duo racking up hits including “Chaise Longue” and “Wet Dream.”
