In 2025, the creators of the UK’s oldest independent festival are launching Found Festival, set to take place from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th August at the stunning Claydon Estate in Buckingham. With a focus on music, culture, and community, the festival promises an intimate, relaxed setting that blends creativity and connection. With over 60 years of festival-hosting tradition, Found Festival marks an exciting new chapter in the UK’s independent festival scene.
After bidding farewell to Towersey Festival, which has been a cherished family event for six decades, the team behind Found Festival is ready to bring something fresh. Mary Hodson, Co-Director, shares, “With a deep-seated passion for curating unforgettable experiences, we’ve inherited the art of bringing people together through music, culture and community. Our rich heritage inspires everything about Found Festival; we believe that life’s most meaningful moments happen when we step outside our daily routines and immerse ourselves in new experiences. Our festival is not just an event; it’s an opportunity to experience creativity and connection and take it back to your daily life.”
Unlike many traditional festivals, Found Festival will highlight Americana, Folk, Country, Roots, Blues, and World music, along with performances in spoken word, comedy, circus, and the arts. The festival’s focus is on connection and creativity, with artists also leading workshops and talks, offering deeper engagement beyond the stage.
Found Festival is all about creativity and community. In addition to amazing music, the festival will offer interactive workshops, dance classes, art projects, and wellness activities for all ages. Whether you’re new to festivals or a seasoned attendee, there will be plenty of opportunities to learn, explore, and make new connections.
Limited to just 2,000 attendees, Found Festival offers an intimate and relaxed atmosphere. The festival’s countryside location makes it perfect for families, with ample space for camping and a safe environment where children can roam freely. The staggered programme ensures you won’t miss out on any of the festival’s offerings, whether it’s music, talks, or interactive sessions.
Alongside the music and art, Found Festival will feature a selection of hand-picked street food vendors and craft drinks, ensuring there’s something for everyone. The focus on quality food and community-driven experiences will make for a true festival celebration.
