Boardmasters Festival

The event is a five-day-long annual festival in the beautiful Cornwall, UK, usually at the time of the second weekend in August. The standout festival of Boardmasters presents live music performances along with surfing and skateboarding competitions all around the lively town of Newquay. Initially, in 1981, as a prestigious surfing completion, Boardmasters started to include thrilling music acts in 2005, and the whole atmosphere of Watergate Bay electrified the audience. These days, Boardmasters holds a capacity of 53,000 people and has become a must-visit event on the summer festival calendar.

The life of the festival races through the live performances on Watergate Bay with the setting being north of Newquay near Watergate Bay plus. - At the same time, Men's Pro 5 Star WQS surf-racing on the renowned Fistral Beach, with the exciting BMX and Skateboard contests on a special ramp. Other activity programs are The Women’s Open, WSL Men’s Longboard, WSL Women’s Longboard, Boys/Girls Pro Junior, and Under 12’s categories. The festival is further enriched by the Holistic Program that includes activities like fly yoga, relaxation activities such as massage and hot tubs, and wine sessions of the ultimate luxury.
