Scheduled in summer at the Belladrum Estate near the picturesque town of Inverness in Kiltarlity, Scotland, is the Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival-a musical and artistic extravaganza that has burgeoned in stature since it took birth in 2004. The festival happens during the first weekend in August. It started being an expanding once after it had always been sold out with the full audience since its inception in 2019: 20,000 people attended the soiree before the event itself.
Belladrum is renowned for genre-defying musical bookings and family-friendly warmth. From soil that is home to an entire site area reserved as a family campsite, to admission free for under 12s, it really is a family festival. A mere selection of the marvelous performers who have adorned the stages since its inception are Madness, Tom Jones, and Ed Sheeran.
There are many different stages, each with its own atmosphere. From the main stage, in the beautiful Italian Gardens, right down to the eclecticism of styles at The Hot House and The Grassroots, the range is endless. There are even comedy and cabaret stages, new act stages, and dance music stages, rounding out a varied and participatory programme for everyone.
Apart from the music, there is also a thing as puppet workshops, arts and crafts, circus skills, and dance classes within the Children's Zone at Belladrum. The Walled Garden is utilized for an area of therapies, and there is also the Burke & Hare and the Free Range Folk stages, to name but a few.
