AEG Presents has officially announced the star-studded line-up for The Warwick Sessions 2025, a major music event set to take place in St Nicholas' Park, Warwick, from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th July 2025. The festival promises a diverse blend of punk, pop, and alternative rock, headlined by iconic acts including The Stranglers, S Club, and Elbow. Tickets for this highly anticipated event will be available to the general public from 10am BST on Friday, 18th October 2024.
Friday 4 July: The Stranglers Kick Off the Festival
The weekend opens with a bang as The Stranglers, legends of the British punk scene, take the stage on Friday 4th July. Marking their 50th anniversary, the band will perform a career-spanning set, with support from fellow punk rockers The Skids.
Known for their early hits like Peaches and No More Heroes, The Stranglers evolved beyond their punk origins to deliver chart-topping classics such as Golden Brown and Always The Sun. With 23 Top 40 singles and a recent No. 1 album Dark Matters, they continue to be a force in the British music scene. Fans can expect an electrifying night as the band celebrates five decades of groundbreaking music.
Saturday 5 July: S Club Brings the Party Vibes
Saturday night will see pop favourites S Club bring their infectious energy to Warwick. Famous for their string of feel-good hits like Reach and Don’t Stop Movin’, S Club were a defining presence in the early 2000s pop scene. The group recently made a huge comeback, selling out arenas across the UK and Ireland with their 2023 Good Times Tour.
After 25 years in the business, S Club still deliver high-energy performances and nostalgic singalongs that never fail to get the crowd on their feet. With new music in the mix, alongside the much-loved hits, this performance is set to be a highlight for fans of all ages.
Sunday 6 July: Elbow Closes with an Emotive Finale
The festival's final night will be headlined by Elbow, the acclaimed alternative rock band from Manchester. Known for their soaring soundscapes and heartfelt lyrics, Elbow have been a staple of British music since their Mercury Prize-winning debut Asleep in the Back in 2001.
Having won multiple Ivor Novello Awards and BRIT Awards, the band continues to captivate audiences with their blend of orchestral rock and intimate storytelling. Their latest album AUDIO VERTIGO (2024) is another critical success, and their Sunday night set promises a stirring close to the weekend. Lead singer Guy Garvey hinted at the special atmosphere of the event, saying, “We love coming back to venues that feel like home and discovering new ones along the way.”
