Barclaycard took over sponsorship from 2009 to 2012, renaming it the Barclaycard Wireless Festival. In 2013, Yahoo! stepped in as the sponsor, leading to the Yahoo! Wireless Festival. New Look, a fashion retailer, assumed sponsorship in 2015. Gopuff, a delivery company, took over sponsorship in 2021 and continued through the 2022 and 2023 editions.
The 2023 event boasted a capacity of 49,999 attendees. Additionally, Wireless Festival expanded to Leeds in 2006 and 2007, and to Birmingham in 2014. Live Nation expanded its reach further by establishing Wireless Germany in Frankfurt in 2017, along with Wireless Middle East in Abu Dhabi.
