Since its launch in 2015, Woo Fest has grown from a modest gathering of friends and family into a much-anticipated annual event. Nestled near Upton upon Severn, this award-winning charity music festival has raised nearly £175,000 for St Richard’s Hospice in Worcester—an impressive total that includes over £33,000 raised in 2024 alone. Every penny from ticket sales goes directly to the hospice, making Woo Fest a festival with a purpose.
Woo Fest offers a diverse line-up of music, featuring both original songs and popular covers across various genres, all performed by an array of talented musicians. Attendees enjoy the relaxed family atmosphere, which includes activities for children and delicious food at the Woo Fest Kitchen, catering to visitors of all ages.
The festival’s growth has been driven by the commitment of volunteers, who bring their time, skills, and resources to create an unforgettable experience. Despite its expansion, Woo Fest has retained its close-knit, community spirit, where attendees feel more like family. As the festival evolves and improves each year, this sense of togetherness remains its defining feature.
Each Woo Fest not only showcases a diverse range of music but also highlights the generosity of its supporters. It’s a true testament to the power of people coming together for a cause, making it an unmissable event on the summer calendar for many.
