Mad Cool 2025 has dropped the sound-stacked first line-up for next year’s festival, offering a taste of what’s to come from 10-13 July in Madrid, Spain. Among the headliners are global superstars Olivia Rodrigo, Justice and Iggy Pop, as well as the thrilling addition of Alanis Morissette, who is traveling to Madrid for the first time in 17 years.
It will be the Canadian artist’s first show in the Spanish capital since 2008. Also known for its iconic hits such as “Ironic“, Morissette will join an incredible list of artists, including Kings of Leon, Weezer, Benson Boone, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Gracie Abrams, Noah Kahan and Spanish rock band Arde Bogotá.
A Star-Studded Line-Up
Adding to the heady prestige of the line-up is Finneas, the Grammy-winning brother and collaborator of Billie Eilish. Other prominent performers include the Puerto Rican rapper Residente, the American multi-instrumentalist St. Vincent, and popular bands like Bloc Party, Foster the People, Glass Animals, Jet, Kaiser Chiefs, Leon Bridges and Future Islands.
Spanish Talent Shines
Spanish artists will also take centre stage, with Natalia Lacunza and rockers Alcalá Norte serving up local flavour. Also on the line-up are The Blessed Madonna, Artemas, Girl in Red, Refused, Royel Otis, Mathame, Hermanos Gutiérrez, Mother Mother, Salute, The Teskey Brothers, Bright Eyes, Argy, Chloe Caillet, and The Wombats.
Ticket Information
General ticket sales will begin Monday, Dec. 23 at 10 a.m., with pre-sale tickets available Friday, Dec. 20, according to the organizers.
Venue Enhancements
Mad Cool 2025 is set to return to Madrid at the Iberdrola Music venue for the third year running. Gratifyingly, its next edition will see marquee reforms, as revealed by its venue manager Coto. These features also include the undergrounding of a high-voltage power line that runs through the site and provisions to increase accessibility and integration with the neighboring municipality of Getafe.
