American Express presents BST Hyde Park has announced the latest support acts to join headlining legend Stevie Wonder on Saturday 12 July. Durand Bernarr, Hajaj, Mica Millar, LULU. and Jon Poppii will perform, along with the previously announced Thee Sacred Souls, Elmiene and Corinne Bailey Rae.
Stevie Wonder appears as part of the LOVE, LIGHT & SONG UK 2025 performances, having twice previously wowed Hyde Park audiences.
Durand Bernarr is a GRAMMY-nominated singer, songwriter, and visionary artist who has emerged as one of the most exciting and innovative voices in contemporary R&B. Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, by the age of 16 he was already working behind the scenes with Earth, Wind & Fire. Durand’s distinct voice and genre-blending style first captured attention with his 2016 project Sound Check, but it was debut album DUR& (2020) – featuring collaborations with Ari Lennox, Anna Wise, and Kaytranada – that solidified his place in the R&B landscape. His artistry continued to evolve with the release of his second album Wanderlust followed by the critically acclaimed En Route, which earned a Grammy nomination for Best Progressive R&B Album. Durand also contributed to Kaytranada’s Timeless, notably on the track ‘Weird’. In 2023, he teamed up with rising producer Charlie Vettuno for Charlie Vettuno Presents…Where in the World is Carmen Randiego?!, a creative bridge between his sophomore and newest album, BLOOM.. “This album is a tribute to the bonds that have shaped me and the freedom to nurture spaces where love flourishes,” Durand said.
Singer-songwriter A.R. Hajaj went from living in Jeddah to Villars-sur-Ollon, Orange County, Los Angeles, Oregon, Colorado, Barcelona, and London, where he was introduced to producer and multi-instrumentalist Aidan Glover, who produced Hajaj’s Last Call For Coco (2021). The EP features some of London’s finest jazz musicians, and is structured to tell the story of an undiagnosed bipolar relationship cycle. Hajaj was interested in Arabic poetry and started writing lyrics from a young age. Playing around the house was an extensive blend of music ranging from Arabic influences like Feiruz and Talal Maddah, to artists like Paco De Lucia and Pharrell. Realising that music as a communicative vehicle was far superior to simple talking, he felt like he came from two worlds but belonged to none. Hajaj found refuge in making music. 2025 has seen the release of new music ahead of a new album in April 2026, Waiting Room (with the ticking time bomb).
Manchester born, vocalist and songwriter Mica Millar has firmly established herself as one of the UK’s brightest soul stars, winning Jazz FM’s ‘Soul Act of The Year’ and gracing the covers of Blues & Soul Magazine and Echoes Magazine following the release of her critically acclaimed, self-produced debut album Heaven Knows (2022). Drawing inspiration from a plethora of vintage soundscapes; most notably soul, rnb, blues, gospel and jazz with respectful nods paid to girl groups of the ’60s and ’70s, her songs have a timeless quality that is both reassuringly familiar yet distinctively Mica Millar. Those fortunate enough to have witnessed Mica perform on stage will have a clear idea of who she is: a bold, authentic talent with an ageless tone to her voice. Her highly anticipated second album is rumoured to be on the horizon, tipped for release in 2026.
South-east Londoner LULU.’s songs are cut through with the kind of warmth that holds you. The 21-year-old singer-songwriter is still figuring out herself and her life, learning to push through loneliness and uncertainty to trust in the journey. On Dear Disorientated Soul, her forthcoming debut EP, she offers up her sweet, soft blend of Afrobeats and soul as a cathartic, uplifting comfort through it all.
Now releasing via AMF Records (Greentea Peng, Loyle Carner, Olivia Dean), LULU. first emerged via TikTok, amassing a 24K+ community of like-minded fans. Her first two singles, ‘Save Me’ and ‘Yesterdays’, received support from Wonderland, Clash, COLORS, Dork and more, alongside plays on Elton John’s Apple Music radio show, ‘Rocket Hour’.
The UK Based Singer and Songwriter Jon Poppii was raised in Ireland and born in South Korea! Jon Poppii followed his innate passion for Music by studying at the BIMM Institute of Modern Music in London. In 2022, Jon started to upload his soulful and heartbreaking renditions of popular songs to Social Platforms. His version of Past Lives by BORNS quickly gained 13.7 million views on Instagram and simultaneously became a trending sound with multiple creators using Jon’s original audio. Jon has amassed a following of over 1.2 million followers across his social platforms and released his Debut EP “Love is the worst” in April 2025.
