The Isle of Wight Festival has just unveiled its first wave of acts for 2025, and it’s already shaping up to be an unforgettable event. Headlining this year are music legends Sting, Stereophonics, and Justin Timberlake, each set to deliver show-stopping performances over the festival weekend from 19th to 22nd June.
Joining the headline trio is a diverse lineup of established stars and rising talent. Faithless will close the Main Stage on Friday, while The Script, Teddy Swims, Clean Bandit, Example, James, Paul Heaton, Texas, Olly Murs, Alison Moyet, Dean Lewis, The Lathums, and Lottery Winners are also set to perform. Friday: Sting
Kicking off the festival on Friday is the legendary Sting, bringing his “STING 3.0” world tour to the Isle of Wight. The tour, which features intimate performances from his extensive catalogue, will see Sting joined by longtime guitarist Dominic Miller and drummer Chris Maas. Expect to hear classics like “Roxanne“, “Message in a Bottle“, and his latest single “I Wrote Your Name (Upon My Heart)“, alongside other iconic hits. With over 100 million records sold and a slew of awards to his name, Sting’s performance promises to be a true highlight.
Saturday: Stereophonics
On Saturday, Welsh rockers Stereophonics return to the festival for the first time in three years. Known for their timeless anthems like “Dakota“, “Have a Nice Day“, and “A Thousand Trees“, the band has a reputation for delivering unforgettable live shows. This performance will be their first major outdoor show of 2025, and fans can expect to hear tracks from their upcoming new album, as well as their greatest hits.
Sunday: Justin Timberlake
Bringing the weekend to a close on Sunday is none other than global pop superstar Justin Timberlake. Known for hits like “SexyBack”, “Mirrors”, and “Rock Your Body”, Timberlake has cemented his place as one of the world’s top entertainers. After more than two decades in the spotlight, he remains a dominant force in pop music, with over 117 million records sold worldwide. His festival performance is sure to be an unforgettable finale.
Beyond the headliners, the lineup for the 2025 festival offers something for everyone. Faithless, pioneers of British electronica, will bring their house and dance-floor hits to close the Main Stage on Friday. The Script, the Irish band behind chart-topping hits like “Hall of Fame” and “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved“, are also set to perform on Saturday.
Teddy Swims, one of 2024’s breakout stars, will make his Isle of Wight debut. His raspy, soulful voice has captured hearts worldwide, and fans can expect to hear tracks from his hit album, including the standout single “Lose Control“.
Dance-pop favourites Clean Bandit will headline the Big Top Stage on Friday night, bringing their blend of classical and electronic music to the island. Known for hits like “Rather Be” and “Rockabye“, they’ll be a crowd favourite.
On Saturday, Example will take over the Big Top with his high-energy dance anthems. Expect floor-fillers like “Changed the Way You Kiss Me” and “Kickstarts” as he lights up the stage.
Closing the Big Top on Sunday night will be James, the beloved English rock band known for classics such as “Sit Down” and “Laid“. Their live performances are always something special, and this one will be no different.
Other notable acts include Paul Heaton, former lead singer of The Housemartins and The Beautiful South, who will perform with special guest Rianne Downey, and Scottish rock icons Texas, who continue to impress with their timeless hits like “Say What You Want“.
Festival-goers can also look forward to performances from Olly Murs, who always brings a fun and upbeat vibe, and Dean Lewis, the Australian singer-songwriter behind global hits like “Be Alright” and “Waves“. Plus, Alison Moyet will take to the Big Top on Sunday, delivering her signature soulful pop, while indie-rock favourites The Lathums and Lottery Winners are sure to keep things lively.
