Wychwood Festival has announced its initial wave of acts for 2025, and it looks like it’s going to be a celebration unlike any other. Joining the likes of headliners James, Britpop legends Shed Seven, Manchester greats Doves and many more eclectic acts.
Festival favourite James are now the lead headliner. Having just enjoyed a huge year of two Number 1s on the UK Album Chart — including A Matter of Time in May 2023 and Liquid Gold in October 2023 — Shed Seven will hit the Sam Shrouder stage on Friday evening with an electric performance which includes their greatest hits Chasing Rainbows and Going for Gold alongside tracks from those albums. To close out the weekend, Doves make a three-year return with their soaring anthems and a highly anticipated New Album on the stage.
They will be joined by The Zutons, Public Service Broadcasting, Lottery Winners and Daniel Bedingfield. Ibibio Sound Machine, Scouting For Girls, Songhoy Blues, Fisherman’s Friends and The Magic Numbers will also perform. Tribute acts like The Smyths and The Ogretones as well as the Beatles Dub Club’s own mellow take on the Fab Four’s classics will be something extra special on the line-up.
It’s not all about spectacular live shows at Wychwood Festival. Fitness fans will be treated to a Saturday morning pump on the main stage with UK’s most loved Body Coach Joe Wicks.
Howlin’ Pete’s is back with Barrioke, hosted by Shaun Williamson, for some noisy singalong fun.
Workshops, comedy and storytelling will also be on the agenda — with Village Green Workshops and Storybox promising an array of activities.
Tickets are on sale now, including day passes and weekend passes. The ‘Pre-Payment Plan’ option at checkout allows for instalments on all ticket types (including Boutique Camping).
This is not just any ordinary weekend, but an invitation to join the Wychwood Festival 2025 – a celebration of music and community! More updates as the festival approaches…
