With over 100 acts spanning indie, world, and folk genres spread across four stages, there's never a dull moment at Wychwood. From toe-tapping performances to side-splitting comedy, the festival offers something to suit every taste. Attendees can also partake in over 100 workshops, dive into the immersive experience of the Headphone Disco, explore the Children's Literature Festival, and indulge in delicious food and refreshing Wychwood Ales.
But the fun doesn't stop there. Wychwood Festival boasts a vibrant lineup of attractions, including Healing Gardens, the Artists and Sculpturers Quarter, and serene camping grounds where festival-goers can unwind beneath the starlit sky.
Over the years, Wychwood Festival has played host to an impressive roster of artists, including The Boomtown Rats, The Proclaimers, Bill Bailey, UB40's Ali Campbell, Astro, and Mickey Virtue, The Levellers, Newton Faulkner, Craig Charles, 10cc, The Waterboys, Duffy, Supergrass, The Stranglers, and The Human League.
Sponsored by Wychwood Brewery, home to the beloved Hobgoblin brand, and in partnership with the University of Gloucestershire, Wychwood Festival is a collaborative effort that extends beyond music. The festival features the Wychwood FM Radio Station and acoustic Wychwood FM Stage, programmed and operated by university students. Additionally, the festival hosts the Children's Literature Festival in association with Waterstones and partners with the children's charity Toybox.
The 2024 headliners Sister Sledge, Texas, and Ocean Colour Scene dazzled audiences with their electrifying performances. With so much to offer for all ages, it was no surprise that Wychwood Festival continued to reign as the UK's premier family-friendly event.
